Job Description

Representative will specialize in the servicing of Commercial loans.


Responsibilities and Duties


  • Review terms of commercial loan notes for fees and/or penalties.

  • Process Payoff Statements and Reinstatement Figures including Default Interest.

  • Process Modifications, Assumptions and Name Changes.

  • Process Releases and UCC continuations in accordance with state compliance regulations.

  • Access fees and penalties to the system.

  • Review and research loan discrepancies.

  • Suspense Payment Posting.

  • Provides borrowers and clients with data relating to their loans/securities.

  • Follow up with verbal and/or written communication with borrowers, clients, attorneys, and other departments.

  • Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for clients and internally.

  • Assist with daily inbound customer service calls.

  • Assist with inbound and outbound calls for annual tax sale.

  • Performs all other responsibilities and duties deemed necessary.


SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:


  • Order inspections for HUD 236 loans.

  • Handle check request for taxes and insurance for HUD 236 loans.

  • Handle event driven monitoring per FHA guidelines.

  • Continue to develop and update procedures manual.

  • Review and research open tax items.

  • Help resolve tax discrepancies.

  • Organize annual tax sale event.

  • Monitor and track insurance renewals.

  • Research any issue that arises pertaining to insurance on commercial loans.

  • Track escrow advances.

  • Perform annual mass analysis and off schedule analysis for commercial loans.

  • Handle loss draft proceeds and escrow holdback funds.

  • Monitor balloon, maturing and matured loans.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for department management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills


  • Must have excellent math skills

  • One or more years of mortgage experience, or banking background

  • Analytical and problem solving skills necessary and the ability to work in a fast pace environment

  • LPS / MSP knowledge is a plus, PC knowledge, MS Excel is a must, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is necessary
