Job Description



Summary:

The Project Manager position requires an individual with Mortgage Banking experience and experienced at handling specific projects for departments within a mortgage company or financial organization. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the project
  • Facilitate in the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Quality assurance
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results

Job Requirements



Job requirements:

  • BS or BA Degree
  • Project Management Certification and at least 2 years of project management experience with a financial institution
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Intermediate to proficient Excel & Microsoft skills
  • Experience in dealing with Managers and executives
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Direct work experience in project management capacity
  • Experience in strategic planning and organization
