Job Description


Dovenmuehle is seeking a self-motivated Project Manager with experience delegating to 6 or more junior staff members. Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. Individual should be creative and dedicated and able to work within a collaborative culture.

All operational areas
Clients, vendors, attorneys, and prior servicing companies

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage multiple project plans, by conversion
  • Oversee the Core Team staff and activities related to the transfer/conversion
  • Provide status reports to internal management and all client(s)
  • Coordinate the scheduling of transfers to forecast the timeframes for new projects
  • Respond to all client issues and concerns
  • Track all expenses related to each transfer
  • Coordinate due diligence activities for each transfer
  • Define all special products and servicing requirements for each transfer and communicate same to all internal managers
  • Manage all transfer-related vendors
  • Facilitate the audit of each conversion and recommend process improvements
  • Facilitate the survey of clients after each conversion
  • Act as liaison between the internal departments, clients and vendors to ensure positive communication and dialogue
  • Summarize post conversion issues for operational areas
  • Ensure corporate, client, investor and vendor compliance with all standards and regulations
  • Approximately 5-15% domestic travel required - amount may vary
  • Performs all other responsibilities and duties deemed necessary

Job Requirements

Job requirements:

  • • Prior experience in project and people/account management; 3 years of mortgage banking experience along with conversion and acquisition knowledge is preferred; mortgage servicing systems experience also essential
  • • 1-5 years of project management experience; strong Excel and presentation skills; mortgage servicing or financial services industry
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid organizational skills and detail minded; strong analytical and follow up skills; intermediate to expert PC skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • • High school diploma; college degree or equivalent experience
