Job Description


Dovenmuehle is seeking a Manager who will have overall responsibility for the efficient servicing and management of the bankruptcy and foreclosure sections of the Mortgage Disposition department. Provide leadership according to investor and company guidelines. Directly responsible for Assistant Managers and Supervisors; indirectly responsible for staff members.


All levels of the organization
Clients, investors, homeowners, vendors

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversee the workflow of the bankruptcy/foreclosure teams.
  • Direct and review the work of staff; to ensure compliance with agency, investor, state and federal laws and company requirements.
  • Monitor reports, task tracking, and exception reports to ensure accurate servicing of all loans.
  • Responsible for timely responses to all internal and external audits, compliance reviews and presidential issues.
  • Provide weekly reports and monthly summaries to senior management highlighting accomplishments, performance standards and measurements, status of open items, and staffing requirements.
  • Recommend and implement process improvement strategies.
  • Interview, hire, train, and mentor new employees.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and track employee performance against standards.
  • Prepare and administer annual performance evaluations for all employees.
  • Coach, counsel, and coordinate corrective action, when applicable.
  • Conduct regular supervisory and all staff meetings to ensure open communication.
  • Handle difficult borrower complaints elevated to a manager level.
  • Performs all other responsibilities and duties deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

Job requirements:

  • 5 + years of management experience; 7 + years of mortgage servicing and foreclosure, bankruptcy claims and REO experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of foreclosure, bankruptcy including sworn docs, claim and REO functions; PC skills; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); mortgage servicing software.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; time management skills; professional demeanor and leadership qualities; strong figure aptitude.
