Job Description



Summary:

Responsible for opening, sorting, logging and distributing mail for the Cashiering Department on a daily basis.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Sort and count overnight packages that can be identified as payments or payoffs. Confirm and log tracking numbers for overnight packages received and signed for. Open and review contents of department mail. Write loan numbers on checks and coupons. Identify loan numbers for unidentified checks. Review process stops and sort checks by process stops to distribute to proper department folders for scanning. Log overnight packages that were sent to Cashiering in error and return to the mailroom.
  • Perform general office duties, including copying, scanning, faxing, preparing boxes for storage.

Job Requirements



Job requirements:

  • One year demonstrated comparable experience in an office environment.
  • PC experience; keyboard knowledge and speed knowledge of PC applications including Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Word processing.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; excellent written/verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others; ability to work in a fast paced environment
