Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage, mentor, and coach a team of loss mitigation representatives - Loan Processors. Distribute mortgage files, Oversee work, giving guidance and direction to the team.
  • Complete and maintain individual performance plans for each direct report; meet regularly to set goals and groom, to ensure personal and professional development (e.g. monitoring task queues and e-mails, quality review, etc. and assisting in achieving team/departmental goals and objectives).
  • Work with Loss Mitigation Management to set monthly department productivity goals; monitor department productivity and time management.
  • Hold regularly scheduled staff meetings to ensure open communication and promote positive team environment.
  • Implement new programs as requested by investor/clients; ensure changes in requirements are implemented in a timely manner
  • Respond to internal and external audit findings by preparing formal responses and ensuring remediation of noted issues.
  • Participate with client & homeowners calls to discuss loss mitigation related topics/issues.
  • Review key performance indicators and pipeline management reports with senior management on a weekly basis.
  • Other duties as assigned by Department Management.

Job Requirements



Job requirements:

  • To qualify, you should possess: Supervisory, Lead or management experience and at least 3 years of experience in mortgage default/ loss mitigation
  • • Excellent customer service skills and customer/client focused
  • • Excellent problem resolution skills
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • • Dependable and reliable with a positive attitude
  • • Self-motivated
  • Education: College degree preferred
