Job Description



Summary:

Has overall responsibility to insure that the proper collection techniques are followed within the team to reduce the number of delinquent accounts



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Receive Inbound or place Outbound calls to delinquent borrowers
  • Collect on past due home mortgage loans that have become delinquent; in a timely manner, per federal and state laws, agency and client guidelines
  • Discuss financial status of loans with client borrowers
  • Understand and achieve metrics, as set by department
  • Collection Counselor Full-timeShift is Monday - Friday 8 AM- 5 PM or 1 PM- 10 PM

Job Requirements



Job requirements:

  • Must be comfortable navigating between multiple computer screens at the same time while speaking on the phone; as well as type at least 30 wpm
  • Previous Call Center experience, minimum one year (Financial Industry a plus+)
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, metrics driven Call Center environment
