Job Description



Summary:

Review, analyze, and respond to all Client/Homeowner correspondence, web inquiries, client tasks, and telephone calls.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyze, research, and resolve complex client/customer issues, via written correspondence, e-mail, website inquiries, and telephone calls, and tasks in compliance with RESPA guidelines.
  • Research open items and resolve high priority issues by working with various departments within the company
  • Act as contact/liaison for Clients with loan level and system maintenance questions/inquiries through various means of communication.
  • Document the servicing system by using tasks and utilizing the tasking application in the launcher application.
  • Follow-up through completion of all issues to make sure they are not a future problem.
  • Provide written confirmation upon completion of researched issues to the borrower and/or client.
  • Assist in answering Customer Service telephone calls when heavy telephone volumes exist.
  • Analyze information and report trends.
  • Perform general office duties, including keyboard, filing, operation of copy and facsimile machines and answering telephones.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



Job requirements:

  • 2+ yrs demonstrated comparable experience in a mortgage banking customer service/research environment.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; excellent written/verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others; ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrates effective negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Effectively communicate customer needs and issues to management.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple client requests, issues, information request, complaints, and compliments.
  • MS Office experience including Excel and Word.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
