Job Description



Summary:

The IT Business Analyst (BA) is a person who interfaces with the client or internal requester (generally managers) to understand their requirements. They work primarily with clients on requests for custom files and coordinate as needed between the client, servicing departments and IT. This person will work on gathering requirements, maintain documentation and write development requests, perform quality testing, coordinate user acceptance testing and production implementation.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Effectively interact between Development group (Programmers), servicing unit and occasionally third party vendors on the development of process improvement requests. Such as the development of new internal applications or facilitating the creation and/or transmission of a file. This person may work on any type of process improvement or file request to the IT department.   • Maintain detailed documentation such as project logs, write develop tickets and work as a liaison between all parties.
  • Responsibilities will range from requirement gathering to evaluation (benefits and risk), along with quality testing and data validation to coordinating user acceptance testing and final implementation and production support.
  • Organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast paced environment.
  • Perform all other responsibilities and duties as deemed necessary

  • Analytical: • Planning, documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques • Testing, verification and validation techniques • Administrative and reporting abilities
  • TYPICAL EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • TYPICAL EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A self-motivated person with excellent communication and organizational skills as well as multi-taking abilities are required. Detailed oriented.
