Job Description

Initiates a complete audit of all default areas to ensure that the correct communication verbal and written has been completed by each area; all documents have been compiled & scanned and the loan has been fully documented in the appropriate systems.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Review loan the loan in our Computer System to determine what client, investor, MIP and state the loan is in to determine all guidelines that needed to be filed during the default of the loan.

  • Review System, vendor information (property inspection, BPO/Appraisal etc.)

  • Pull copies of all original loan documents

  • Review all the information gathered

  • Ensure all the people notified, figures, dates, signatures, items paid were correct and timely and that all guidelines have been followed.

  • Scan all documents together with the appropriate cover sheet.

  • Respond to internal and external requests for audits and status are completed timely.

  • Perform all other responsibilities and duties deemed other duties as assigned

  • Maintain a professional attitude and atmosphere within the department.

Job Requirements

Requirements:


  • General PC skills, Intermediate to advanced EXCEL skills, good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Enjoys working with numbers

  • A general understanding of mortgage documents and /or Mortgage Servicing is helpful.

  • Must be self-motivated; work independently; have strong time management skills and works well with others.
